Precis #5: Death's Best Friend

“Death’s Best Friend” is a story about a man living on the edge. Jimmy accidentally had electrocuted himself and the Grim Reaper had decided to pay him a visit. He came to take Jimmy to his death but then he received a phone call that informed the Grim Reaper that it wasn’t Jimmy’s time to go. Jimmy still had life in him and the Grim Reaper accidentally told Jimmy that he had another 50 years to live. This was a big mistake because now when Jimmy returned to his normal life he lived on the edge not scared of death at all. He became known as the man with the most near death experiences. Time after time the Reaper kept coming back to lecture Jimmy on him not to risk his life, but Jimmy realized that the Grim Reaper had become his friend and liked to come and visit him. When Jimmy’s time to finally go had arrived the Grim Reaper asked him a question…to be his partner that way they would hangout and do their job together. Jimmy happily agreed.
